It was her first time seeing sand
We were really excited about our family trip, and couldn’t wait to take our daughter on her first vacation. After we booked into our taupo motor inn we headed straight for the beach. It was her first time playing on sand and she loved it. We made sandcastles, and her dad helped her burry me in the sand. She was a bit scared of the ocean, but with dads help she soon got used to it. We thought it would be fun to take her to the marine park. Her mouth literally dropped open when she saw the sharks and she just stood their pointing and saying “big fishy big fishy”. It was very cute. We got some great photographs, which her grandparents will appreciate, and we definitely had a successful first family vacation.
