Simple Bird Toys
Smaller parrot species such as parakeets, love birds, budgies, and parrotlets need to have a supply of bird and parrot toys like the larger parrot species. Even non parrot species like finches and canaries will benefit from simple toys. Some of my favorite toys for these smaller birds use natural elements. Items like vegetable tanned leather, sisal rope, hemp rope, cotton rope, dried vine, and wicker are natural and provide easy beak chewing. Bird toys do not need to be complicated or flamboyant, they only need to provide an interactive way for your avian pet to act out it’s own natural instincts.
