I have been working in a glass factory for five years. Although I like my job, I am ready to take the next step to becoming an operator. After speaking to my supervisor and telling him that I wanted to advance to another position in the company, he suggested that I sign up for the mechanical training courses that are offered through the company. He bought the papers to me the next day to get me started on my way. The courses are self pace, therefore it would not interfere in my present job. But, I plan on having them completed sooner than later.
