Depilatories have come a long way
One of the most economical hair removal methods is using a depilatory. Nowadays they are well developed and contain a number of soothing ingredients to calm the skin. Earlier depilatories contained such harsh chemicals to dissolve the skin distressed skin was not an uncommon side effect. Of course, to do the job they still contain strong chemicals but modern depilatories also have a number of other ingredients which do a reasonable follow up job in healing over the damaged skin. The point is, every individual is different and what works well on one may not work so well on another. So a little experimentation is often needed between various brands and products to isolate the best one for any particular individual.
