Are All Bioidentical Hormones FDA Approved?
Jordan was asking Sylvia about the different hormones that are available to women for menopause. Sylvia told Jordan that there are drug companies that make Bioidentical Hormone and are the same same chemical make up that is in a woman’s body. There are also pharmacy companies that produce these same hormones for women by mixing a combination that a doctor has given to them. Doctors feel that it is much better to mix the combination to get the right combination for different women. The drugs that are made at a pharmaceutical company are FDA approved while the combination made up at the pharmacist is not approved.
