Squash Rackets selling for $200
As any regular squash player knows, broken racquets are a part of the game. I’ve sure left my fair share in the club trashcan! Most beginner or intermediate squash players can pick up an excellent and well-balanced racquet in the $100 price range. Some of the top brands are those of Head, Prince, Black Knight and Dunlop and are reasonably priced. Squash Rackets selling for $200 or up are not really worth the extra cost to most players unless they happen to be a professional on tour. What’s most important is to find a racquet that has the combination of weight and stiffness that feels right for you. A well-balanced racquet doesn’t leave you feeling unduly fatigued at the end of the day and reduces the risk of shoulder and elbow injury. Racquets weighing between 130 to 140 grams are best. Also, look for racquet that is a bit stiffer than most to reduce the vibration factor, which can also contribute to injury and fatigue.
