Photographer Angela Cappetta’s unconventional style makes for priceless images that last a lifetime.

Well before they say “I do,” the brides and grooms who work with Angela Cappetta make a different kind of pledge: they promise to let her sit with the guests, point out the most precious peple, and leave her alone.
In return, Cappetta, a new york wedding photographer , vows to capture the cake-cutting and formal shots they requet- up to ten set ups-and to work exhaustively to hand craft the most personal momentos of the day. ”After every wedding I’m the the darkroom for probably two straight weeks,” says Cappetta, 35. “color and black and white; I had process both. This work is an heirloom. It has to last 100 years.”
