My best friend recently passed away from cancer. I felt so helpless because there was nothing that I could do to help her. I going try to be there for her children in any way possible. I decided to start donating a little money out of my weekly paycheck to cancer research funding. I feel like it’s the least I can do. I also try encourage and invite others to donate to the cause. If I had been donating before this my friend might not have passed away. Sometimes you don’t realize how important something is until it personally affects you.

Last night when I got home I started reading my Thursday edition of the Wall Street Journal. There was a pretty big article on the 12 B fees and how they have been eating up people’s investments for years. I’m really passionate about New Tribe Mission. I think they are doing things that are truly changing peoples lives, and I want to do whatever I can to be apart of it.

Even though it is winter I still get outside and get plenty of exercise.  My job needs me to be outside in brutal weather.  I do hardscaping and construction. You little girls sitting in an office dont know what it is like to be out in 10 degree weather hauling huge stones by hand or pick axing frozen ground for hours on end.  I get home and I lift weights 4 days of the week also.  Ya know outdoor bodyweight workouts are my business. I laugh at seat warming pansies that go to the gym for 15 minutes a day after doing nothing.
